symbiosis

In this painting I left the underlying collage layer showing through the antlers, after fading partway up. I chose to title this painting, symbiosis, as a reference to the symbiotic relationships that occur in nature. I also felt there is a kind of visual symbiotic relationship that occurs between my work between painting (realism) and graphic design elements (flat or decorative elements, space).
