From a series of monochromatic birds and animals. Back in 2018, I was able to spend a weekend in Ely, MN, at the wolf center there, taking photos of wolves there. This is a north american gray wolf that I painted based on photos I took.

Ever since I was young, I've held a special place in my heart for birds and animals, and believe that we have a connection with them. In our modern world, however, this connection often seems quite distant. It's my hope that these paintings remind us of that connection.
