Original oil painting.
Cradled panel is finished with a clear varnish on the sides, wired and ready to hang.
Signed, titled and dated on the back.
One of my favorite ways of working is to begin with collage material on panel, then begin adding layers of paint along with the subject I'm painting. As it was singing, I thought I'd give the bird a kind of cartoon bubble with the word "listen"
