I usually try to have a camera with me when I travel, and in this case, was just picking up some takeout food, when behind the restaurant in a narrow alleyway was this bright red scarlet tanager. Fortunately I had my camera with me, as I rarely ever see these birds let alone am able to get close enough to actually take pictures.
